Nancy put up Ferradura Bar, in São Bernardo do Campo within São Paulo's metropolitan area circa 1980. It soon became a magnet for all sorts of musicians around the Grande ABC (Santo André, São Bernardo & São Caetano).
Every Tuesdays & Fridays, choro-players, sambistas, poets, writers, journalists and all who love Brazilian Popular Music would congregate at Ferradura Bar at Rua Gieg, 15, Vila Tupi to have a good time.
Mimi Boêmio and Joca-7-Strings (Joca-7-Cordas) started the whole business of playing live at Ferradura's. Joca's real name is Dioracy Antônio Reis Moura, was born on 10 April 1939, in S.Paulo and died on 18 November 2009, in Santo André-SP. His son, Carlos Moura took after him and is a very good 7-string-guitar player.
